Synopsis

While mRNA therapeutics have been in development for decades, the COVID-19 pandemic saw this technology come of age with mRNA vaccines becoming available at unprecedented speed. Please join Moderna for this interactive session that will explore the potential of the mRNA platform to address a range of unmet public health challenges from infectious diseases to cancer.

The session will begin with a Moderna presentation on public health challenges, Moderna’s mRNA platform and Moderna’s commitment to R&D and manufacturing in Australia. A panel discussion will follow, featuring four leading Australian researchers who are collaborating with Moderna to develop novel mRNA-based therapeutics. The session is designed to be interactive and will include plenty of time for audience questions.
