Nicolas Fossat
I am an experienced molecular biologist, biochemist, neuroscientist, embryologist, geneticist and virologist who is fascinated by the control of gene expression!
I did my education in France, then lived for ten years in Australia before to move to Denmark. I have a very multi-disciplinary mindset, love to manage projects and people, and thrive on collaborative work.
My current scientific interest is directed towards understanding the nature and the necessity of RNA-RNA-protein interactions for viruses and cells, focusing on the brain and the gut. My work has a strong emphasis on methodological development using high-throughput techniques, gene editing, stem cells and systems biology.
My ultimate aim is to reveal novel paradigms of control of gene expression that could be used for RNA therapy.
